Literacy. Community. Empowerment & Scholarship.

Who We Serve

READ is an inclusive organization that serves anyone presenting a need for assistance with learning to read, or increasing literacy proficiencies and outcomes. We serve learners across the lifespan beginning at Pre-K through adulthood. Training on cultural competency, as well as ESL certifications are held by staff so that we can serve a diverse group of learners. We focus on providing quality literacy instruction and resources to underserved, and underpriveleged populations.

Why We Serve

Every child and adult deserves a fair chance to live a fulfilled, empowered, and successful life. Disparities in access to quality literacy instruction, and resources makes this difficult to attain for disadvantaged, and underserved populations. It is our goal to deliver quality literacy instruction and resources in a targeted, learner-centered way so that negative statistics can be alleviated; and quality of life improves for those that we serve for generations to come!
